Prior to joining IWR North America, Reed worked at Kuenz Heating and Sheet Metal, Missouri Builders Services, and United States Steel, where he honed his project management and technical skills. His diverse responsibilities ranged from estimating architectural and fabrication projects using advanced software, to hands-on technical work like wiring and troubleshooting control circuits. Reed managed project lifecycles, involving detailed submittals, drafting, material logistics, and manpower scheduling. His role also encompassed critical safety oversight, coordination with general contractors and superintendents, and direct customer engagement for fabrication and installations.
Notable projects under Reed's leadership include work on sites such as the U.S. Silica, Washington University’s South Danforth Campus, and a major Boeing expansion project.
