- SF 189 S OF MILES CITY SHLD WID The SF 189 South of Miles City Shoulder Widening project is a 2.3-mile-long project on MT Highway 59. The project is located approximately 24 miles south of Miles City in Custer County. The project is between reference post 25.5 and reference post 27.8. Work includes construction of new 6-ft. shoulders with rumble strips on each side of the road and flattening of the roadside slopes.

The project begins at the Lewis and Clark/Jefferson County line (RP 189.9) and extends north to RP 200.4. All interchange ramps within these limits will receive a scrub seal, except for the 3 ramps at the Lincoln Interchange called out in the plans.

Northwest project is a 7-mile-long resurfacing project on Secondary 252 (Horse Creek Road) beginning in Circle at the intersection with MT 200 (1st Avenue), reference post 0.0, and extending 7 miles northwest ending just before the Denwoody Creek Bridge at reference post 7.0. This project includes a mill and overlay, seal and cover, upgraded signing, delineation, and pavement markings. The purpose of the project is to extend the life of the existing pavement to provide a safer, smoother ride and reduce maintenance costs.
